PER MEDIA Is Starting with its Media Markt Mobile Tour Into the New Year.
Following the motto “Germany switches to sharp focus” PER MEDIA organizes for Media Markt a nationwide road show, informing us on the new HDTV future. From mid-January thru March 2010 the info vehicles are touring cross country. They will stop in more than 200 cities to demonstrate in detail how the new technology works.
Digital is Optimal: The New World of HD Television.
In 2010 starts a whole new television era in Germany, featuring the High Definition Television (HDTV). At the occasion of the Olympic Winter Games in February 2010, ARD and ZDF will turn their broadcasting business to the innovative digital technology, allowing their programs to gain a new, hitherto unknown visual and audio quality. A mobile special show organized by PER MEDA for Media Markt, with venues in more than 200 German cities, demonstrates how you can get to enjoy that new HDTV.
The digital HDTV technology combines the television image from up to five times as many picture points as in the current analogue television system. It creates images of unique brilliance and accuracy. The audio signals are being transferred digitally, as well, allowing for a fantastic sound rendition.
The complete range of the state-of-the-art HD digital hardware technology – from HD television sets via blu-ray players and HD receivers up to digital sound systems – is represented on the themed trailers, which have been refurbished by PER MEDIA into consultation areas.
“In 2010, a new era dawns for the history of television”, summarizes PER MEDIA managing director Dirk Friebe, being convinced: “Once you have experienced HDTV with your own senses, you will never want to do without it.”
